Technical Service Representative:

For a Technical Service Representative (TSR) at Univar Solutions, the primary purpose of the role is to provide technical expertise that supports sales growth, customer solutions, and product application support.

What You’ll Do:

• Serve as a technical resource for Inside Sales and New Business Development teams.
• Research and answer technical product questions from customers and sales representatives.
• Recommend products, technical alternatives, and application solutions based on customer requirements.
• Collaborate with Product Management, laboratory personnel, supplier technical teams, and sales associates to solve customer challenges.
• Support customer projects involving formulation guidance, troubleshooting, product performance improvements, and product quality issues.
• Document customer interactions and opportunities in Salesforce.
• Maintain technical expertise through supplier and industry training.

What You’ll Need:

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry, or a related technical field.
• Technical experience in chemicals, ingredients, formulations, or related industries.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Office and CRM platforms such as Salesforce.
• Ability to build relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
