18-Month Contract Position

About the position:
Reporting to the Margin Management Manager, the Supplier Support Specialist is a key member of our Margin Management team and works closely alongside our Product Management, District Commercial, Sales and Supply Chain teams.

What you’ll do:

• Maintains vendor cost support through SAP software.
• Coordinates with Margin Analyst to investigate margin issues related to cost support.
• Proactively identify expiring supplier cost support contracts and work to reduce aged supplier support balances.
• Coordinates with Product Managers and District Commercial Specialists to execute cost support strategies and contracts.
• Assists with vendor rebates.
• Audits vendor contracts to ensure compliance.
• Create reports as required for Product Mangers, District Commercial Specialist and Sales Management.
• Supports creation of training materials for the department.
• Other tasks as assigned

 
What you’ll need:

• University Degree or College Diploma in a related field and 1-2 years of relevant work experience, preferred
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills
• Must have a strong organizational aptitude, be detailed oriented and have excellent time management skills
• Strong commitment to teamwork and collaboration
• Proven ability to effectively meet difficult deadlines and perform well under pressure
• Must have strong computer skills using Microsoft Office suite including Outlook, Excel, and Word
• Experience with SAP is considered an asset

• This is a hybrid position, onsite M, W, TH
• Location: 64 Arrow Rd, North York, ON M9M 2L9

Pay and Benefits:

This position is currently vacant. The annual expected salary range for this position is $60,000 - $80,000. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s relevant experience, education, training, certifications, qualifications, and work location.
