Title:  Sample Coordinator Summer Intern

What you’ll do:

• Act as a technical resource for inquiries related to chemical products.
• Request, process, package, and ship product samples to customers.
• Maintain sample inventory, including ordering new samples, disposing of expired items, and keeping inventory sheets updated.
• Manage documentation and questionnaires for customers.
• Liaise between customers, suppliers, and internal teams to support technical, quality, and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with suppliers, internal divisions, and warehouses to fulfill customer requests.
• Track sample shipments and confirm delivery, including managing rush requests.
• Support the Sales team by assisting with projects and opportunities that promote market growth.
• Maintain and update technical databases and product information.
• Provide backup support for other technical services personnel as needed
• Other duties as requried. 

Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in a college or university Chemistry program, with two years of related experience preferred 
• Knowledge in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word 
• Be able to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines
• Knowledge in TDG and WHMIS or GHS would be an asset
• Strong problem solving and organizational skills
• Strong communication skills and be able to work effectively in a team environment

Pay and Benefits:
The expected hourly rate for this position is between $22,00 to $25,00. The specific rate offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s relevant experience, education, training, certifications, qualifications, and work location.
