We are looking for a Key Account Manager based in our Vantaa office (Hybrid) to join our team 

 

What does a Key Account Manager do at Univar Solutions?
Your responsibility is to develop our portfolio of Finnish companies with various purchasing behavior. In some cases that means identifying new customer needs, in others you focus on increased volumes, and you give them an excellent purchasing experience from order to delivered goods. Your mission is to strengthen the relationship, so they always choose Univar Solutions as their primary source of ingredients and chemicals. 

 

Aside from the pre-existing portfolio, the job includes prospecting and creating new business. You will be our go-to person for the chemicals business in Finland. 

 

What does the team look like?
Your team of 12 colleagues are based in Malmö, Gothenburg, Bergen, and Oslo. At the office in Vantaa, you find your Finnish colleagues from other business units. 

 

Who might you be?
We expect at least a few years of B2B-sales experience, preferably from chemical distribution, ingredients, or similar. To be successful in this job, we expect you to be alert, disciplined, a fast learner, and curious. You probably have experience in setting goals for yourself and working at it until you reach those goals, what is commonly called grit.


As your manager and teammates are located elsewhere, a high level of independence and can-do attitude will serve you well. 

 

What else? Since communication is key in sales and you will work with our Finnish customer, we see professional proficiency in Finnish as a must. To communicate with the rest of the organization, confidence in English (written and spoken) is also critical. If you are also comfortable with your Swedish, that’s a great bonus as your teammates and manager are all Swedish/Norwegian.
