About the position: Reporting to the Sales Manager, the Account Coordinator will support the account managers with daily requests pertaining to the sales cycle such as, quote requests + delivery, pricing letters, and data management. This position will also work with internal staff to ensure Univar delivers exceptional customer service.

What you’ll do:

• Actively work with account managers to develop new business and create growth with Univar’s current customer base  

• Be a secondary point of contact for the customers to ensure requests are reviewed efficiently

• Assist the account managers with the customers’ scheduled reviews  

• Work with internal staff to ensure Univar delivers exceptional customer service 

• Initiate cost work-up requests as needed 

• Provide the Purchasing team with customer specific forecasts as needed  

• Update quotes to deliver pricing information to customers  

• Work with the Technical Services team to prepare Sample requests 

• Liaise with Product Management to share information with customers 

• Other duties as required  

 
What we would like from you:

• College diploma or University degree in a related program (chemistry, sales) and two (2) years’ experience in sales or customer service is required 

• Must have very strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently, demonstrates initiative and possess strong written and oral communication skills 

• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (specifically Excel, Outlook, Work, and PowerPoint) 

• Must work well in a fast paced environment and be able to prioritize and multitask 

• An entrepreneurial attitude towards Univar’s business and customers 

Pay and Benefits
The annual expected salary range for this position is $58,000 – $69,000. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s relevant experience, education, training, certifications, qualifications, and work location.
