Salary: £36,362.86 + performance bonus up to £2,100 per annum

Duties:

We are looking for HGV Drivers with a current ADR licence to join our Transport team based in Middlesbrough. You will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and timely delivery of chemicals and ingredients used in everyday products, helping to keep our communities healthy, fed, clean and safe.

You’ll be driving both Category C (Class 2) and Category C+E (Class 1) vehicles, operating 26t and 44t trucks as required across our customer network.

Our modern fleet includes DAF CF and brand-new DAF XG fully automatic vehicles, fully equipped to support driver comfort and safety on the road.

Key Responsibilities

• Driving rigid (Class 2) and articulated (Class 1) vehicles safely and professionally
• Delivering packed goods and low-pressure liquid discharges across the Univar Solutions network
• Providing a first-class customer service at delivery sites
• Communicating clearly and professionally with customers and internal teams
• Ensuring full compliance with ADR regulations, safety procedures and legislation
• Identifying, prioritising and escalating customer feedback and requests when needed

• UK resident, currently living in the UK, with the right to work (offer of employment is subject to satisfactory proof of this)
• Valid ADR licence and Driver CPC
• A strong safety-first mindset
• Comfortable using an iPhone and mobile apps in day-to-day work
