PRIMARY PURPOSE:
Responsible for the overall coordination, implementation, execution, control, and completion of integrated customer services. These customer services involve crafting and implementing plans for blending, consolidation, sustainability/circularity strategies, and bid process implementation. Achieving the expectations established between Univar Solutions and key customers. Additionally, working closely with Supply Chain, Procurement, Sustainability, ChemCare, Operations, and Sales to ensure timely completion of project objectives and advances as critical.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
- Track, aggregate, and analyze internal partner responses against the proposed bid strategy.
- Draft internal documents and applications to supervise and review customer bids.
- Develops final bid response and handle bid response process to ensure customer requirements are met.
- Actively engage with key internal partners in the bid process based on customer requirements and business needs.
- Provide process knowledge for bid strategy meetings led by Corporate Account Managers – timing, format, content, attendees.
- Develop and reports customer feedback from bid results to build competitive intelligence for future bids.
- Analyze bid opportunity and results data to prepare performance summaries for Corporate Accounts leadership.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or the equivalent in related work experience.
- A minimum of three (3) years of experience in chemical, petrochemical, or comparable chemical distribution with broad familiarity and general knowledge of organizational functions (i.e., customer service, operations, procurement, sales, etc.).
- Strong analytical, organizational, prioritization, and time management skills with the capacity to handle diverse and significant requirements in fast paced and time-sensitive situations.
- Strong oral and written communication skills for interface and collaboration with all organizational levels.
- Strong interpersonal skills, including diplomacy, tact, and discretion while interacting with others.
- Proficient project management skills, including prioritization, scheduling, and documentation. Including a proven technical understanding and the ability to define and refine requirements through a project lifecycle.
- Ability to write regular status reports, develop risk mitigation strategies, and handle issues.
- Ability to work and make decisions independently with minimal direction.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Microsoft Teams.
- Ability to navigate Univar Solutions systems (Salesforce, SAP, Tableau, Universe, etc.).
- Brings a positive, can-do attitude in a fast-paced work environment.
- Excellent English skills.
