About the Position

As a Supply Chain Planner, you ensure that stock quantity, quality, and rotation meet business requirements for a defined product range. You decide when, how, and how much to order—always aiming for the most efficient approach. Your responsibility is to manage purchase quantities and timing in line with stock levels and sales demand. The goal is to maximize inventory rotation, minimize working capital tied up in slow-moving or aged products, and ensure product availability with minimal out-of-stock situations.

As a Supply Chain Planner, you will work with:

• Creating reports on portfolios and analyzing results
• Inventory planning
• Interacting with stakeholders, locally and internationally
• Monitoring working capital
• Coordinating import and export shipping
• Monitoring and planning transport logistics
• Handling transport-related requests
• Administering invoices, claims, and pricing request

You will use SAP and MS Excel as your main tools. You will be part of a team of seven people. In this role, you report to the Supply Chain Manager, all based in our Malmö office.

Your Background

We believe that you have an educational background in Supply Chain, Transport Logistics, or an equivalent field. Alternatively, you may have a few years of work-related experience where you’ve mastered the relevant terminology and gained a solid understanding of supply chain fundamentals. As Univar Solutions is a global company, our corporate language is English, and full working proficiency, both verbal and written, is required. Locally, we use a mix of Scandinavian languages, and proficiency in one is considered a strong merit. Since part of the role involves creating and analyzing reports, we also require advanced knowledge of MS Excel and SAP. Previous experience within purchasing, international trade import-export operations, transport or customer service advantageous as well as retail or chemical experience is considered beneficial but not essential.
