Univar Solutions is looking for a strategic Global Senior Marketing Manager to lead marketing and strategy initiatives for the Ingredients & Specialties Beauty and Personal Care business. This role involves developing and implementing marketing strategies to drive growth, improve brand positioning, and support commercial objectives across key industry segments. The role will also lead the go-to-market planning process for their assigned business unit.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
- Responsible for delivering marketing programs that generate $10M+ in new gross profit per year
- Coordinate global strategic go-to-market plans each year, assisting BU Vice President in driving accountability to plans
- Serves as a member of the BU Global Leadership Team with dual report to BU Vice President

- Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies aligned with business goals, market trends, and customer needs. (30%)
- Market Intelligence, Segmentation & Planning: Analyze market dynamics, customer insights, and competitive landscape to identify growth opportunities and guide product positioning. Coordinate go-to-market growth strategies across the business unit. (20%)
- Campaign Development: Own the creation and execution of coordinated marketing campaigns, including digital, content, and event marketing, to generate demand and support sales enablement. Work closely with regional Marketing Operations colleagues in execution of campaigns. (15%)
- Product & Portfolio Marketing: Collaborate with product management and commercial teams to launch new products, optimize portfolio messaging, and support technical marketing initiatives. (10%)
- Brand Management: Strengthen Univar Solutions’ Ingredients + Specialties brand presence in the specialty chemicals space through consistent messaging, thought leadership, and customer engagement. (10%)
- Team Leadership: Collaborate and mentor with a team of marketing professionals, encouraging a culture of innovation, collaboration, and accountability. (5%)
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with sales, supply chain, technical services, and supplier management to ensure alignment and execution of marketing and go-to-market strategies. (10%)
WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field 8+ years of progressive marketing experience
- At least 5 years in the specialty chemicals or industrial B2B sector
- Proven success in strategic marketing, campaign execution, and team leadership
- Strong analytical, communication, and project management skills
- Key capabilities: adaptability, collaboration, customer focus, driving for results, earning trust
- Experience with CRM, marketing automation, and digital marketing platforms
