Position Summary

Performs a variety of laboratory and research-related tasks. Analyzes and tests manufactured, recycled, and incoming/outgoing raw materials, in‑process samples, and finished blends/products to ensure product quality and composition. Supports overall laboratory operations through accurate testing, documentation, equipment maintenance, and adherence to quality standards.

 

What You’ll Do

  • Use laboratory equipment to analyze, measure, and test chemicals to ensure quality control of products.
  • Test QC samples (incoming/outgoing raw materials, in‑process, finished blends/products) for quality assurance.
  • Perform routine and advanced analysis on water and glycol samples to assess physical and chemical properties.
  • Prepare specimens, slides, solutions, calibration standards, and reagents.
  • Perform calculations, routine tests, and titrations (volumetric analysis).
  • Operate and maintain key laboratory instruments, including:
    • Karl Fischer (KF) titrator
    • Inductively Coupled Plasma (ICP)
    • Gas Chromatography (GC)
    • Ion Chromatography (IC)
    • Autosamplers
    • pH meters, density meters, viscometers, spectrophotometers
    • Other equipment used to test alkalinity, pH, density, and chemical composition
  • Prepare and translate Certificates of Analysis and Toxicological reports.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, logs, and test records in compliance with lab quality systems.
  • Stock laboratory supplies; clean and maintain equipment; assist with general laboratory housekeeping.
  • Adhere to company quality processes, including cGMP requirements as applicable.
  • Assist in resolving product quality issues in an efficient and timely manner.
  • Perform instrument calibration and support SOP writing.

 

What You’ll Need

  • Diploma or degree in Chemistry, Chemical Technology, or related scientific field (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience in laboratory procedures, preferably in industrial or manufacturing environments.
  • Familiarity with wet chemistry techniques and analytical instruments.
  • Knowledge of laboratory protocols and cGMP requirements (as applicable).
  • Experience using SAP (preferred).
  • Skills in:
    • Volumetric analysis (titration)
    • Solution preparation and standardization
    • Instrument calibration
    • Use of Microsoft Office products
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team. 
  • Effective communication and time‑management skills.
