Role Purpose 

To support the carrier invoice auditing process. 

Responsibilities 

Report & Analysis 

• Extract relevant data from different sources such as carrier invoices, Tableau, Every Angle, SAP and Oracle 
• Convert and develop data to present results to stakeholders, by highlighting discrepancies, process and system improvements and the transport expenditure of the different elements included in the Transport cost 
• Oversee freight settlement and other requests required that can help to provide meaningful insight to support decision making and forecasting  
• Develop new analytical models/improve existing ones if required, to obtain the Analysis results needed (intermediate/advance level of excel)  
• Summarising data in a concise format to present to stakeholders  
• Regularly consult with Key stakeholders and other managers to support and report financial transport data 
• Conduct variance analysis of the results versus Invoiced, Oracle (planned in our system) and Rate card (price list of transport cost) 
• Preparation of monthly reports for each of the areas in Europe to report findings to EMEA Transport Director and Head of FP&A SCO EMEA 

Business Partnering & Decision Support 

• Support TMS (Transport Management System) and Transport Regional Leads to drive improvements in processes that will influence planning efficiency (reduce workload for approval) and accuracy of cost planned in our system  
• Drive efficiency in Accounts Payable Transport by providing invoice data in a format that will help to improve efficiency and accuracy of invoice processing  
• Liaise with transport leads to report any issues with regards to carriers’ invoices that may impact cost control, invoice processing and accounting for transport costs  
• Support FP&A and Transport Director with any financial aspect of the transport costs incurred by the business
