Communications Manager:
The position will be at the ground floor of helping us redefine the future of communications and provide experience in internal corporate storytelling; change management communication; executive visibility/support; employee engagement; community affairs; HR communications, and cross-functional collaboration designed to strengthen our brand reputation and the connectivity both internally within our lines of business as well as externally with customers, suppliers, industry affiliations and communities.
What You'll Do:
- Manages internal communication via intranet site, office televisions and company-wide emails.
- Manages and creates content for external platforms (e.g. LinkedIn, Glassdoor, Indeed)
- Manages company communication guidelines and templates including style guide, processes, etc. and reviews company communication as needed to match ChemPoint voice and formatting.
- Partner with leadership team on communications to support our employees in upcoming integration/transformation projects and programs.
- Supports and implements ChemPoint’s Guiding Principles by embedding into communications and facilitating programs to create the desired workplace culture
- Orchestrates team events such as the quarterly review meetings, milestone events and holiday celebrations, etc.
- Performs data and process analyses and provides written and verbal presentation of recommendations to the Executive team as it relates to employee facing programs.
- Takes action on problem solving and solutions development; shows interest in industry and global trends; exhibits some versatility when interacting with customers, suppliers, and outsourced relationships; and effectively conveys ideas and concepts via multiple modes of communication.
- Performs other related duties as required or requested
What You'll Need:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, English, communications, or related field
- Organizational and departmental strategy and goal setting experience
- 5+ years strategic communications experience
- Expert knowledge and experience working with MS Office Suite, with strong Excel skills
- Experience using Confluence software
- Knowledge of social media and communications tools
- Sound judgment, critical thinking and creative problem solving
- Basic knowledge of graphic and web design, as well as system interactions
- Ability to lead by demonstrating desired behaviors (i.e., work ethic, great teammate)
- Commitment to accountability for performance in area of responsibility
- Inspires others to consistently strive for high quality performance and continuous improvements
- Critical thinking and creative problem-solving ability
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Where You'll Work:
- This is an on-site based role, 3-5 days/week, located in our Bellevue, WA location
Pay & Benefits:
- Pay Rate: $109,500 - $164,300; actual pay may be subject to geography and experience
