The Virtual Account Representative will manage existing business through proactive engagement within an assigned customer base achieving their assigned sales quota.
What you´ll do:
- Implement sales calls via, phone, email or video chat with potential customers.
- Ensure existing business is secured through collection of repeat order.
- Establish relationship to Identify business challenges and present findings to appropriate sales channel based on potential.
- Manage sales opportunities using Salesforce.com.
- Ensure customer has competitive pricing to secure existing business and capture information on additional product offering opportunities.
- Use knowledge and understanding of the customers business needs and Univar’s Channel strategy to identify growth opportunities and facilitate transfer of account to the appropriate sales channel, transferring applicable information to drive long term success and customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with customer providing solutions to Univar’s self-servicing options.
What you´ll need:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required, along with 2+ years of sales experience in a B2B environment.
- Chemical ingredient experience is a plus.
- Bilingual French & English
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to develop strong, successful business relationships with customers as well as internal teammates.
- Well-honed listening and problem-solving skills to uncover needs and motivations to overcome objections in order provide the services and/or products that best fit the customer’s needs.
- Excellent digital literacy including Microsoft Suite as well as CRM platforms such as Salesforce.com
