Support Project Specialist
The Support Project Specialist will provide critical development to our commercial teams by supporting and contributing to the design and development of current and new programs. This role will schedule and oversee all training programs, identify training needs, contribute to the design of existing and future programs as well as measure adoption. In addition, the role is responsible for the execution of commercial programs to ensure effectiveness and adoption goals are successfully met. Ultimately, this role plays an important part to ensure our commercial team is educated and able, to perform at a high level to drive results and increase customer satisfaction.
What You'll Do
• Ensure quality sales training programs are delivered within budget limitations
• Identify the most appropriate training method for delivery (e.g. live, virtual, on-the-job training, video, Brainshark)
• Ongoing content development of current programs (Sales Activation Training onboarding sessions for new hires, Sales Leadership Development Program (SLDP) and Virtual Counselor Salesperson (CSP). Delivery and Communication
• Schedule and manage live and virtual training events
• Evaluate sales team performance to monitor to expected ROI
• Create an open-communication climate and gather team members’ preferences for potential training.
• Stay up-to-date on sales/employee development industry trends including Brainshark, video, and online content tools. Measurement
• Evaluate effectiveness of training programs and content to identify improvement opportunities and future topics
• Develop, measure and report out on training plans progress and key KPI’s
• Evaluate sales team performance to monitor to expected ROI
• Utilize the Cabinet of Advisors for feedback on existing and new programs
• Maintain updated curriculum database and training records
What You'll Need
• Required • Minimum 3-5 years of relevant work experience in training logistics and content development
• BS degree or equivalent experience in Marketing, Sales Operations, Supply Chain, Education, Training or other relevant fields
• Additional certification in training is a plus (i.e. Counselor Sales Program: CSP); Salesforce.com; DiSC, etc)
• Proven as a Sales/Commercial training specialist or relevant work experience within distribution functional roles (sales, customer service, supply chain) • Knowledge and experience of learning principles and current training techniques
• Ability to manage the full training cycle from design to implementation
• Experience with learning management software (LMS) – Success Factors preferred
• Proficiency in MS Office, MS Teams and Brainshark
• Understanding of commercial processes – preferably sales and customer service experience
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Strong organizational, change management and project management skills
