The Vice President, North America FP&A will lead the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) function for the Univar Solutions Chemical Distribution & Services business across USA, Canada and Mexico across a multi-national team of approximately 50.

What You'll Do:

• Provide regular reports, budgets, forecasts, and other necessary ad-hoc requirements for effective decision making. Foster a high-performance culture that values and treats individuals fairly.
• Own and manage the cadence of reporting, forecasting, budgeting, and performance tracking on a daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis including a detailed summary of costs, commercial initiatives, pricing, and churn analysis.
• Prepare and present updates to executive leadership and members of the Board of Directors.
• Own and lead the long-term strategic plan development, tracking, and measurement.
• Partner with the global controllership to ensure financial statements are accurate and that profit and loss statements reflect actual business conditions.
• Lead the forecast for NA cash usage and generation through net working capital deployment, capital deployment, and long-term lease activity, both finance and operating leases.
• Partner with regional FP&A leaders to ensure strong accountability of commercial partners to results and business plans.
• Lead the capital expenditure budgeting and tracking process, including analytical support for growth and commercial capital deployment.
• Partner with the M&A leader to provide analysis, modeling, and diligence support during the acquisition or divestiture process.
• Approximately 10% travel requirement.

What You'll Need:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, required.
• MBA or Master’s degree in Accounting, preferred.
• Minimum of 10-15 years’ experience within public accounting, finance, and/or private equity.
• Tableau, Excel, PowerPoint experience, required.
• OneStream and SAP or similar large scale ERP experience (Oracle, Hyperion, BPC, etc.), preferred.

Where You’ll Work:

• This a hybrid role based in Houston, TX, relocation assistance is available.

Pay & Benefits:

• The salary range is $230,000-$280,000. This role is also eligible for incentive pay.
• The specific salary offered to a candidate may be motivated by a variety of factors including the candidate’s meaningful experience, education, training, certifications, qualifications, and work location. 
• Available employee benefits include health, vision, and dental.  We also provide 401k matching for retirement and flexible time off.
