<span 72="">Primary Purpose: Responsible for the overall coordination, implementation, execution, control, and completion of integrated customer services. These customer services include crafting and implementing plans for blending; consolidation; sustainability/circularity strategies and bid process execution. Achieving the expectations established between Univar Solutions and key customers. Additionally, collaborating with Supply Chain, Procurement, Sustainability, ChemCare, Operations and Sales for timely completion of project objectives and advances as necessary.

 

 

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

<span 72="">80% of time spent 

  • <span 72="">Create and implement implementation plans for customer solutions including blending; consolidation; sustainability/circularity strategies  
  • <span 72="">Find and advance opportunities to meet customer objectives including but not limited to KPI build out and tracking, total cost of ownership, savings, increase sustainable/circularity in supply chain, blending, etc. during project execution. 
  • <span 72="">Collaborate with PMM to negotiate indirectly or directly with supplier base.  
  • <span 72="">Provide regular updates to product, operations, local sales and the Key Account teams regarding project progress 
  • <span 72="">Continuously identify supply chain and/or business risk and present mitigation solutions.  
  • <span 72="">Maintain detailed reports of the project timelines and achievements.  
  • <span 72="">Conduct analysis of logistics, order patterns, product offsets to identity alignment/optimization solutions for customer.  

<span 72="">20% of time spent:

  • <span 72="">Managing the intake, internal communication, and compilation of bid information as well as the preparation of the response to the customer.

<span 72="">Drive growth in Corporate Accounts business through increased volume and revenue through customer services.  

 

 

<span 72="">WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

 

<span 72="">• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental/Biological/Life Sciences, Chemistry, or another related field

<span 72="">• A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in chemical, petrochemical, or comparable experience in chemical distribution.

<span 72="">• Direct work experience in procurement or supply chain

<span 72="">• Proven experience in project management, i<span 72="">mplementing new customer solutions<span 72="">, and <span 72="">change management

 

<span 72="">Specialized Knowledge/Skills:

 

<span 72="">• A wide knowledge and established network within the chemical distribution industry

<span 72="">• Sound organizational, prioritization, and time management skills to handle diverse and significant requirements in fast paced and time-sensitive situations.

<span 72="">• Strong oral and written communication skills for interface and collaboration with all organizational levels

<span 72="">• Strong interpersonal skills, including diplomacy, tact, and discretion while interacting with others.

<span 72="">• Strong project management skills, including prioritization, scheduling, and documentation. Including a proven technical understanding and the ability to define and refine requirements through a project lifecycle.

<span 72="">• Advanced analytical, critical thinking, and creative problem-solving skills articulated effectively with team members

<span 72="">• Ability to write regular status reports, develop risk mitigation strategies, and manage issues.

<span 72="">• Ability to work and make decisions independently with minimal supervision

<span 72="">• Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Microsoft Teams
