The Manager, Global Business Intelligence will be responsible for KPI and data management strategy for the global I&S business. Lead building, facilitating, tracking, and reporting results in various Growth-related activities and campaigns. Understand market dynamics and the Ingredients + Specialties business to build approaches and analyses that drive maximal profit growth specific to each market. Build, drive, refine both existing KPIs and new KPIs as needed. Create data center that rolls up all regions to a common mechanism and globalize data management everywhere possible. Responsible for acquiring all necessary data to build models and other analytical techniques to explain business trends and performance. Manage technology expertise in SFDC and Tableau. 

 

WHAT YOU'LL DO: 

 

  • Collaborate with Commercial Operations Leaders and Business Leaders to create data science and reporting that allows us to drive behavior change and accountability: 30% of time spent 
  • Build relationships with Product Marketing Manager and Sales partners to understand needs of the business and use that information to continuously improve our commercial processes critical metrics: 30% of time spent
  • Manage day-to-day needs of Commercial Excellence Operations with focus on talent development and process efficiency: 20% of time spent
  • Work with regional partners to develop processes and mechanisms for centralizing and standardizing metrics for global I+S: 20% of time spent

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in mathematics or data science 
  • Must be commercially friendly and able to move fluidly between technical and commercial language 
  • Must be deadline and willing to take action to deliver timely monthly deliverables to support leaders 
  • Demonstrated ability to translate business needs into workable requirements for technology and reporting improvements 
  • Comfort speaking in front of senior leaders and commercial partners 
  • Both ability and desire to work both independently and collaboratively 
  • Desire to build strong relationships internally 
  • Ability to draw data-based conclusions and make recommendations to the business 
  • Intellectual curiosity 
  • Strong capability to manipulate large amounts of data and to understand how to approach that data through the scope of Commercial Operations 
  • Proven leadership ability in a changing environment
