Job Title: Customer Service Representative
Reports to: Customer Service Team Leader / Manager
Position Overview:
It is all about providing excellent customer service and support to develop profitable sales. Customer needs drive your activities. You improve customer satisfaction by actively seeking feedback from customers. Customer’s expectations are consistently exceeded but you need balance at all times the needs of the customer and the best interests of Univar Solutions. When it comes to communication, you listen to feedback, advices and instructions and responds effectively. You are active at meetings and contribute positively. You also give feedback to colleagues and team members to reinforce positive behaviours or to address needs for improvement. You demonstrate a dedication to reject a culture of blame by totally transparent communication with others at all levels of the organisation. Personally, you accept responsibility for your own development within your job. You understand performance expectations of the role and delivers on promises made and learn and improve from any failure. You measure your own progress in integrating new knowledge and skills and share progress through feedback with manager. When it comes to Safety you ensure compliance to all ESQH procedures.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
• To build strong, proactive relationships with customers to engender growth opportunities and ensure customer retention
• To review performance against agreed objectives
• Take every opportunity to develop sales from enquiries
• To ensure customer pricing is accurate and regularly updated
• To process orders effectively and accurately
• To record and follow up on quotations and sample requests
• Use of salesforce.com and other Customer Relationship Management tools as required
• Provide the necessary support for Area Business Managers/Account Managers and communicate regularly with them
• To keep customer record cards accurate and up to date
• To effectively apply all aspects of the Customer Complaints process including investigation and resolution where necessary
• Answer the telephone promptly and professionally
• Follow all Quality procedures
• Attend and contribute at team meetings
• To ensure a smart appearance at all times
• Use departmental IT resources effectively
• Align with safety notices
• Observe good housekeeping practices and maintain your work area in a safe, clean and tidy condition
• Co-operate on all matters concerned with any Health, safety, training, legislative and environmental matters
Key Targets:

• The quality and accuracy of sales order processing, administration and reporting
• Compliance to all Company procedures and legislative requirements
• The achievement of zero accidents associated with Health & Safety Issues

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
• Fluent in Czech and English, another European language is a plus
• Education: bachelor degree or relevant experience
• SAP experience
• No 9 to 5 mentality
• Min. 2 years of relevant working experience in customer service
• Retail or Chemical experience is a plus
• Great teammate, Flexible, High degree of ownership, Pro-active
• Analytical skills
• Great communication skills
