Primary Purpose:
The Technical Account Manager, reporting to the Beauty & Personal Care Business Development Manager, is the resource of the Commercial Area, which, in coordination with its reference Commercial Account Manager, follows, in terms of sales, promotion, maintenance and development, the Customers in your area for the Personal Care sector, as regards the purely technical aspects of the sale itself.
What you will do:
- Develop effective customer relationships and actively seek new product opportunities
- Prepare technical presentations on cosmetic formulations for the customer's R&D department
- Support the customer's R&D department at a technical level
- Visit customers on high-profitability projects, create relationships and reliability on a technical level
- Follow the sales cycle (proposals, samples, visits, etc.)
- Develop new perspectives proactively and monitor competitive activity
- Representing suppliers and exchanging market information effectively between the main trading partners, maintaining compliance standards
- Constantly monitor the market by mapping technological innovations, regulatory updates and reference legislation
- Keep the CRM system up to date, generating "Target Business Opportunities" that ensure growth.
What you will need:
- Degree in cosmetic sciences, chemistry. Chemical engineer and pharmaceutical technology or in the chemical field
- Knowledge of the practical application of the cosmetic formulation.
- Knowledge of the application of principles, techniques, procedures and equipment for the design and production of various cosmetic goods
- Knowledge of the personal care and reference raw materials market
- Excellent communication skills and ability to explain in technical terms at an appropriate level
- Strong goal-oriented orientation
- Strong motivation, desire to get involved, curiosity, enthusiasm, open-mindedness and ability to work in a local and international context
- Availability to travel
- Fluency in Spanish, advanced in English
