Primary Purpose:
As a tax manager, the core role will be to manage regional income tax and other international income tax functions for the Company, including income tax compliance and provision on a quarterly and annual basis, Tax Accounting, Tax Reporting, Tax Compliance. Assist in supporting income tax, indirect taxes, transfer pricing and other international tax as it pertains to tax planning projects.
What you will do:
- Manage the quarterly and annual income tax provision process
- Ensure compliance with SOX and company policies for tax related matters
- Create and optimize complex financial models using excel and tax software
- Detect tax risk among the business of each country on the region
- Manage Regional corporate income tax compliance
- Responsible for supervising monthly tax installment calculation, Annual Income Tax Returns and withholding tax process
- Oversee all regional and international tax matters
- Transfer pricing Compliance and Intercompany transactions
- Manage income tax audits
- Research and advise on direct and indirect tax matters
- Monitor and stay up to date on tax legislative and administrative updates
- Participate in ad hoc M&A projects including tax due diligence and integration
- Assist with other international tax projects as needed e.g. Dividends Distribution, Loans
What you will need:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting
- Professional accounting designation or Master’s degree preferred
- 5+ years of relevant work experience in Taxes and Tax Reporting
- Strong analytical, financial accounting, and tax research skills
- Excellent organizational, project management skills, and strong attention to detail
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
- Able to speak and write in English
- Experienced on taxes in LATAM & Asia countries (Brazil, Mexico, Colombia, Panamá, Costa Rica, China, Singapore)
