We will provide a solid introduction, competent colleagues, and coaching – you bring your passion for developing relationships, experience in sales and your technical background from the industry.

 

What does a Technical Area Sales Manager do at Univar Solutions?

Your responsibility is to develop our portfolio together your team with various purchasing behavior. In some cases that means identifying new customer needs, in some cases you focus on increased volumes or yet other cases you help them have an excellent purchasing experience from order to delivered goods. In all cases your mission is to strengthen the relationship, so they always choose Univar Solutions as their primary source of ingredients and chemicals within Food. You will your self be setting your budget a drive your team members to success.

Aside from that, you will also be the technical support in the Nordic and with your competencies make sure that we have the right quality on our products.

 

Who might you be?

We do believe that you have min around 7- 10 years of work experience from the technical side within B2B and a strong background around leadership. You will bring your ability to build relationships, engage people and have the gift to covert the technical terms to sales language.

To be successful in this job, we expect you to be alert, disciplined, a fast learner, and curious.

You shall have been working with budget responsibility and leadership. You have experience in setting goals for yourself and others, then working at it until you and your team reach those them.

What else? Since communication is key to this position, we see that you are fluent in one of the Nordic languages, as well as confidence in English (written and spoken). You can expect some travel in the position.
 

What does the team look like?

In the business unit you will be part of our EMEA Team with colleagues around Europe. Your team is based in Gothenburg, Malmo, Oslo also two homebased, one in Denmark and one in Finland. We see you to be based in one of the Nordic countries with an opportunity to hybrid working.
