Job summary - purpose of the role Account Manager perform a number of sales activities. (S)He negotiates with clients, book appointment, attend meetings, discuss proposals and perform demonstrations of the company’s goods and services. The job allows travelling extensively to client locations. Account Manager is directly responsible for generating income and revenue for the Adhesives, Sealants and Construction Business. Account Manager manages and negotiates with potential clients, garnering their support for the company.
Key competencies and behaviors Profile: § Good negotiation skills (Senior: Excellent) § Good communication skills, both written and spoken (Senior: Excellent) § Well organized with good time management skills and the ability to prioritize and manage a heavy workload § Ability to influence positively internal Univar resources in order to deliver customer delight § Desire to succeed § Resilient. § Experience in International context would be a plus § Technical/Science educational background (Chemistry / Chemical Engineering) § Upper-intermediate English level (Written & spoken) § Good computer skills (CRM, Excel, PowerPoint) (Senior: Excellent) § High level of presentation skills. § Flexible for Travelling / Valid Driving Licence § Experience in a commercial environment providing good customer service § Experience in the related industry (Adhesives, Sealants Construction Raw Material Selling)
