Operations Manager

The Operations Manager is responsible for the efficient day-to-day operations of the customer location(s), including leading a team of Operations employees and managing the annual budget and operating plan.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

•    You will be leading the daily safe, efficient, legal, and economical operations of the different customer location sites 

•    Facilitating compliance to corporate health, safety, and environmental affairs policies, including completion of scheduling, trainings, documentation, and record-keeping.
•    Managing day-to-day work activities to ensure operational goals and objectives are met.

•    Ensuring sure all employees have the required tools and training on safety, operation standards, and department goals.
•    Helping to build a positive work environment and encouraging employee ownership of branch operations and performance.
•    Leading interviewing, hiring, training, and evaluating direct reports

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

•    High School Diploma/GED required 

•    Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience
•    5-7 years of experience in Chemical Waste Operations 

•    Solid understanding of governmental requirements related to the chemical industry; i.e. OSHA, EPA, RCRA, DOT, etc. preferred or ability to attain such knowledge
•    Leadership: ability to communicate with, support, and motivate others to achieve operational objectives
•    Strong verbal /written communication skills
