We are looking for a Senior People Analytics Partner to join our growing People Analytics team at Univar Solutions. Reporting to the People Analytics Manager, the Senior People Analytics Partner will: 

  • Own and optimize existing HR global reporting capabilities to inform the HR organization and the business through data visualization tools.
  • Drive the business through the lens of HR data by empowering HR leaders to integrate data into daily decisions as well as strategic planning.
  • Enable the Human Resource Business Partners and end users to build awareness and skills on use of standard reporting tools and analytics to become data-savvy.
  • Act as an internal consultant by understanding business needs, scoping data requests, synthesizing insights, and recommending solutions to key business partners in collaboration with other members of the people analytics team.
  • Apply expertise in quantitative analysis and the presentation of data to see beyond the numbers and help inform, influence, support, and execute our talent decisions.
  • Investigate ways to measure and visualize existing processes for internal efficiency analysis and stakeholder communication. Develop mechanisms and processes that ensure data integrity, assists with system maintenance and testing, and identifies opportunities for constant process improvement across systems.
  • Maintain and ensure proper security roles and governance on all data and dashboards published. Demonstrate exceptional judgment and discretion when dealing with highly sensitive people data.
  • Manage multiple concurrent projects that require inputs from cross-functional stakeholders while balancing impact on business needs.
  • Other responsibilities may include designing and administering new data sources into our database, consulting on the use of HR data, and working with the business and technical team to create new requirements.

  • You are a seasoned HR analyst who has experience analyzing data and statistics for trends and patterns with attention to human workforce capital in recruitment, hiring practices, talent management, turnover, D&I and ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations.
  • You are a self-starter who embraces challenges and always looks to find solutions that drive successful outcomes for our business, customers, and employees.
  • You have exceptional problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and willingness to learn new tools.
  • You are able to multi-task, plan, organize and effectively prioritize to set reasonable expectations and meet deadlines delivering quality work.
  • You have a leader-focused approach and experience leveraging qualitative & quantitative user research methodologies and insights to drive design decisions.
  • You are ego-free with a positive attitude, collaborative approach, and eager to give and receive constructive feedback.
  • Intuitively balanced on when to compromise to get the essential work done on time and when to push for the ideal process.

 

Desired experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or Data/Computer Science preferred or the equivalent relevant 6+ years of experience required.
  • An exceptional portfolio demonstrating your experience and approach in solving complex HR data problems to present visual insights and opportunities to the business.
  • Proficient in working with Big Data and experience using SQL and other forms of data extraction techniques such as AWS S3 and Redshift.
