Primary Purpose:
Maintains day-to-day processing, data entry, and management of employee data to include new hires, rehires, and contractor conversions.  Supports a variety of Human Resources and administrative assignments to include the onboarding of new hires by processing data, assisting with new employee orientation, conducting weekly Form I9 Training, partnering with Talent Acquisition, and hiring managers.  Responds to New Hire and HR Inbox inquires.  Answers employee, manager, and HR Business Partner questions in a timely manner.  Provides administrative support to ensure the effective operation of HR Shared Services (HRSS) department.  


Key Responsibilities:

  • Enters new hires, timely and accurately and maintains employee data.  
    • Creates new hire records in HCM systems.  
    • Conducts administrative audits to ensure integrity of the data.  
  • Ensures new hires are set-up and ready for onboarding and orientation.  
    • Supports the new employee experience.
    • Creates applicant records, interfaces with the Talent Acquisition team, and communicates with the new employee manager. 
  • Responds to employee and manager inquires, understanding and applying HR and company policies and procedures.
    • Intakes, prioritizes and manages incoming requests.
    • Provides initial support based upon policies and procedures and escalates complex matters accordingly to other HR colleagues for assistance.  
  • Gathers HR documentation and responds to administrative HR data requests.  
    • Develops queries and/or gathers data from various systems and sources.  
  • Conducts presentation and training calls.
    • Weekly New Employee Orientation
    • Weekly Form I9 Training.
  • Performs other related duties as required or requested.



  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business or relevant subject field of study
  • 2 years’ experience in Human Resources or related field
  • Experience using MS Office applications including Word and Excel 


Specialized Knowledge/Skills:

  • Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint 
  • Proficient data entry and typing skills
  • Professional verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize and handle diverse workload
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize in a changing environment  
  • Ability to work effectively with inter-department teams and to encourage strong working relationships.
  • Excellent customer service skills at all levels of management.
  • Excellent organization skills and proven attention to detail.
  • Ability to tolerate ambiguity and be able to work effectively within a dynamic environment.
  • Ability to ask questions and follow up in order to ensure data integrity.
