Primary Purpose:

Work with personnel related to ChemCare Supply Chain and related activities of the ChemCare Operations Team. This role requires work flexibility, advanced data computer skills, strong interpersonal management, communication skills both written and oral to support Operations, Business Services, Sales and our Internal Customers. Responsible for Supply Chain data, training, developing, implementing, monitoring of the national ChemCare supply plan, team goals and performance expectations.


Key Deliverables: 

  • Perform data driven analysis and modeling of supply chain data specifically around ChemCare disposal TSD’s and outlets, PPV and logistics spending with a focus on commodity recycling (ex. Cardboard, Plastic, Metals, ….)
  • Work with our onsite/nested teams to reduce waste volumes and improve sustainability for our customers
  • Create and drive processes and activities to improve supply chain costs and service levels for disposal and transportation
  • Support Supply Chain Operations team in managing inventory levels to established targets, monitor and report performance
  • Develop and track supply chain metrics in the areas of Inventory Management, Forecasting, Production Planning, Distribution and Transportation
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver data, reporting and other deliverables as appropriate to other organizations within the company
  • Ensure accuracy of metrics and identify the underlying drivers behind performance
  • Analyze supply chain business practices, define business needs and participate in installation, configuration, documentation, testing, training and implementation of new supply chain related ERP application/modules
  • Prepare reports to illustrate trends and identify root causes through detailed analysis of key data, including recommendations for corrective action and continuous improvement opportunities
  • Participate in the planning, development, maintenance and configuration of systems
  • Maintain vendor relationships and contracts including negotiating contract costs and maximizing service levels

Financial Responsibility: 

  • Monitors Supply Chain spend and expenses
  • Assist in the selection of national regional vendors to ensure high levels of service with appropriate cost


Supervisory Responsibility:

None, Individual contributor role.



  • Bachelor’s degree preferred with emphasis in business or data systems and or a minimum of 4 years of industry experience
  • In-depth knowledge of ChemCare operations or Waste Industry experience
  • 3-5 years’ experience with Production / Material Planning, Supply Chain / Financial Analysis, Data Modeling, Business Analysis or a closely related field
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong computer skills
  • Working knowledge of regulatory requirements related to the waste industry, i.e. OSHA, EPA, RCRA, DOT, etc. or demonstrated ability to attain such knowledge


Specialized Knowledge/Skills:

  • Statistical analysis, supply chain planning/forecasting skills using recognized planning or analytics software applications
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrated business intuition skills
  • Ability to communicate clearly through written and oral communications
  • Understands functional processes and can navigate systems to extract needed data
  • Practical understanding of principals of project management and team facilitation

  • APICS and/or Green Belt certification is desirable
  • Experience with Manugistics / JDA, SAP preferred

  • Expertise with Business Objects data analysis tools is required.
  • Experience with reviewing and negotiating legal contracts
