Primary Purpose:

The primary purpose of the Supervisor, Accounts Payable & Inventory is to manage the Accounts Payable (AP) and Inventory team and be accountable for the accuracy and completion of their professional output. Ensures supplier and vendor invoices and payments are processed timely in accordance with approved processes. Conducts both recurring and ad-hoc financial analyses to support strategic business initiatives. Partners cross-functionally with business units to inform and influence key strategic decisions, improve processes, and develop further efficiencies with a desired result of generating positive financial

 

What You’ll Do:

  • Supports organization objectives by helping to drive holistic financial decision- making with variety of ad-hoc analysis and requests
  • Provides management for team of specialists including coaching, goal setting, performance management, and career development
  • Serves as liaison to rest of organization on inventory-related matters by providing financial expertise, analysis, and helps to integrate efficient business processes
  • Reviews monthly journal entries including inventory provision adjustments and various accruals such as sales, freight expense and others to reliably impact P&L and Balance Sheet before also uploading to the General Ledger
  • Assists in facilitating annual budgeting and forecasting process, supporting business leaders and the organization’s objectives
  • Monitors past and open sales transactions for optimizing margin management that directly impacts reported financials and various incentive plans for Sales team either by identifying errors or proposing opportunities for growth or recovery
  • Responsible for daily projections of monthly Sales/Margin/EBITDA to Leadership Team, accounting for historical averages along with expected unique events
  • Adjusts inventory costs as needed for accurate balance sheet and margin reporting

 

What You’ll Need

Education/Experience/Training:

  • Bachelor’s degree with concentration in Accounting or Finance from fully accredited four-year institution is preferred
  • 3-5 years of applicable Accounting or Finance experience
  • CPA/CMA preferable
  • Managerial experience desirable

 

Specialized Knowledge/Skills:

  • Strong analytical skills, particularly with advanced spreadsheet tools
  • Working knowledge of GAAP
  • Capable of clear and concise interpersonal communication (oral/written/presentation)
  • Strong work ethic and leadership qualities
  • Experience with Microsoft Great Plains and CRM Dynamics beneficial
  • Knowledge and experience working with MS Office Suite
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to effectively convey ideas and suggestions via multiple modes of communication
  • Exhibits versatility and adaptability while interacting with others
  • Ability to work well independently as well as within a team environment
  • Demonstrates sound judgment and critical thinking
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
  • Ability to meet strict deadlines in a high-volume environment

This is a hybrid role. Office location: Bellevue, WA.

 

Pay and Benefits:

The salary range for this position is $77,420 - $96,780. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s relevant experience, education, training, certifications, qualifications, and work location. In addition, this position is eligible for incentive pay. Available employee benefits include health, vision, and dental. We also provide 401k matching for retirement and paid time off.
