At ChemPoint, the Sr. Customer Solutions Representative researches, presents, and implements preventative action measures to improve ChemPoint’s processes and service levels to our customers and partners. This role acts as a primary escalation point for support tickets, working to collaborate with internal and external partners to resolve customer order complications and errors. 




  • Actively closes supports and identifies trends and areas of improvement. 

  • Maintains accurate process documents & audits existing processes. 

  • Creates recommendations for areas of improvement and innovation opportunities. 

  • Applies critical thinking and utilization of ChemPoint resources to formulate and deliver solutions to meet customer and supplier needs. 

  • Reports on performance and opportunity trends on dimensions that include customers, suppliers, warehouses, freight carriers, specific processes, and product lines. 




  • Bachelor’s degree from fully accredited four-year institution or equivalent work experience. 

  • Knowledge and experience working with MS Office Suite, with strong Excel skills. 

  • Knowledge of transaction systems (e.g., CRM, Issue Tracking, PM, ERP, etc.). 

  • Ability to perform business analysis and present trends, options, and recommendations. 

  • Demonstrates sound judgment and creative problem solving. 

  • Commitment to accountability for performance in area of responsibility. 

  • Ability to be a team player and support a strong work ethic. 

  • Ability to receive constructive feedback from others. 

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to effectively convey ideas and suggestions via multiple modes of communication. 

  • Exhibits versatility and adaptability while interacting with team members, customers, suppliers and outsourced relationships.
