We engage in exclusive product line relationships with premier manufacturers, providing our suppliers with marketing, sales, customer service and order fulfillment solutions for their targeted customer segments. 

To support the sales process by owning non-essential sales tasks and maintaining customer account information we are seeking a Sales Support Specialist. This role acts as a direct resource for customers and internal sales professionals, providing real-time support and solutions.  

 

Key Deliverables:

  • Customer Account Management 
  • Sets up customer accounts
  • Manages quote requests 
  • Orders troubleshooting 
  • Addresses order acceptance holds 
  • Updates records for customer interactions 
  • Contacts customers that are identified as “At Risk” in the CRM.  Quickly and efficiently determines next steps needed to reduce churn
  • Gains additional information regarding product application.  Must understand on/off track business and additional customer insights as needed
  • Updates forecasts and advises seller if further follow up is required
  • Cleans up the total opportunity count. Reviews and adds forecast data where possible
  • Sells Irregular Inactive Inventory (i3) material where possible
  • Addresses customer inquiries and complaints as needed  
  • Performs other related duties as required or requested.

  • Knowledge and experience working with MS Office Suite, with strong Excel skills
  • Demonstrates sound judgment and creative problem solving

Other Considerations:

  • Bachelor’s degree from fully accredited four-year institution or equivalent work experience
  • Experience in a Business-to-Business (B2B) service organization or 1+ years experience in equivalent job(s) preferred
