At ChemPoint, we focus on account management and retention of our valued customer base. This essential function is handled by a Sales Manager who is an integral part of a multi-disciplinary sales team. Sales Managers are responsible coaching employees and helping in their personal and professional growth. Additionally, they focus on the execution of customer and product line strategies.


  • You will manage all aspects of employee life-cycle for ChemPoint’s global sales team
  • Provide training to help develop sales skills and abilities within your team
  • Develop, implement, and execute strategic planning to retain and grow global sales in respective industry.
  • Define and refine ChemPoint sales processes and sales roles in collaboration with other Sales Managers to best meet and exceed supplier, customer, and internal expectations. 
  • Set sales territories, define resource needs, and collaborate with internal and external resources to fill those needs.
  • Participate in customer interactions to assist the sales team in retaining business and acquiring new business.
  • Align behavior and actions with ChemPoint’s culture by showing up with energy, promoting and adapting to change, initiating and supporting innovation, leading with courage, and having fun.
  • You will demonstrate job competencies and remain accountable for performance in your area of responsibility.



  • Sales and/or leadership experience with strong desire to develop professional career.
  • Four-year degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, marketing, business or other related discipline.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong telephone skills, active listening skills, consultative selling skills, problem-solving and negotiation skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including strong Excel skills is required.  CRM and/or other database experience highly desired.
  • High-energy level paired with curiosity and keen desire to learn and understand business issues in a dynamic, aggressively-growing company.
  • Proactive, positive team player who is adaptable, flexible, and willing to take on new challenges and risks on a continual basis.
  • Goal-oriented with entrepreneurial spirit, strong leadership skills, and decision-making abilities.
