The Sales Account Executive – Personal Care Ingredients, builds profitable sales in an assigned territory through additional sales with current customers and demonstrates commitment to prospecting and new business development.
You will employ a consultative sales approach to develop and maintain long-term partnerships. You will provide solutions to meet the needs of multiple-location accounts, corporate accounts and large accounts of a sophisticated nature. By using your industry expertise and a variety of ChemPoint resources, you will gather valuable market intelligence and play a pivotal role on a collaborative selling team.
What you´ll do:
- Manage a territory of accounts consisting of ChemPoint’s most strategic customer segments. These accounts include those customers of high volume, high revenue, and multiple products.
- Forecast customer demand, implement strategies to address driven situations, and implement ChemPoint marketing plans to improve sales of key products.
- Work closely with Industry Representatives on secured accounts of existing customers.
- Uncover and evaluate customer needs and use financial analysis to develop and support solutions that match our product/service offerings.
- Conduct targeted prospecting using a variety of resources.
What you´ll need:
- Four-year degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, marketing, business or other related discipline.
- Three or more years of strategic account management experience (chemical sales experience is a plus).
- Formal sales training or equivalent experience in consultative sales.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with strong Excel skills required. CRM and/or other database experience highly desired.
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to engage with a wide variety of personality types at various professional skill-levels.
- Proactive, positive great teammate who is adaptable, flexible, and willing to take on new challenges and risks on a continual basis.
- Goal-oriented with entrepreneurial spirit, strong leadership skills, and decision-making abilities.
Where you´ll work
- We will accept applications from candidates located anywhere in the US. Fully Remote or Hybrid. Greater Seattle/Bellevue or Houston (Woodlands) area is a plus.
Pay & Benefits
The salary range for this position is USD 75,200.00 - USD 112,800.00. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s relevant experience, education, training, certifications, qualifications, and work location. In addition, this position is eligible for incentive pay. Available employee benefits include health, vision, and dental. We also provide 401k matching for retirement and paid time off.
