The Financial Analyst is to develop and implement the organization’s financial functions and performance, relating to month end close activities, as well as preparation of recurring and ad-hoc financial reports and variance and trend analyses. Builds and maintains financial models that monitor past results and projects future performance.


Key Deliverables:


  • Responsible for daily projections of monthly Sales/DGP/EBITDA to Leadership Team, utilizing trend analysis as well as expected unique events.
  • Support month end close process by reviewing recurring monthly journal entries.
  • Provides management for team of specialists including coaching, goal setting, performance management, and career development
  • Produce various recurring and ad-hoc financial reports that measure financial performance and track against enterprise KPI’s.


Supervisory Responsibility:


  • Direct supervision of FP&A Team
  • Fulfills supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies, procedures, and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and managing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.


Desired Background and Skills:


  • Bachelor’s degree with concentration in Accounting or Finance from fully accredited four-year institution is helpful, Master’s degree preferred
  • 3-5 years of Accounting or Finance experience
  • CPA/CMA preferable
  • Managerial experience desirable
  • Strong analytical skills, particularly with advanced spreadsheet tools
  • Solid understanding of GAAP
  • Experience with Microsoft Great Plains and CRM Dynamics helpful
